Dream World investigates several recently built (from 2016 to 2018) tourist towns and theme parks located around Guiyang, China. Nearly one-third of them are no longer functioning, while the rest receive only a few visitors. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent to construct these themed attractions, which have gradually become ornamental images of the experiences they were designed to produce. The photographs observe these spaces after their intended activities have receded, where spectacle, architecture and traces of use remain suspended between presence and absence.

《Dream World》拍摄了2016-2018年间修建的位于贵阳的旅游小镇和主题公园。其中有将近三分之一已不再运营，其余的也只有很少的游客偶尔到访。政府花费了上亿元修建的这些主题旅游景点现在逐渐沦为装饰性的图像。该作品通过摄影观察这些空间在原有活动逐渐退去之后的状态：悬置于存在与缺席之间的奇观、建筑以及经过使用后留下的痕迹。
